kopikalyan

The consecutive holidays are over today — the consecutive holidays in the corona disaster. I’m not going anywhere but little coffee shops in town. Now I don’t even want to talk to anybody.

I went to kopikalyan and it was windy today.

It is in the precincts of Petogogan, Senopati, and just in the middle of the hip and bourgeoise restaurants. It was named Kalyan (pun of the plural of You ‘kalian’ in Indonesian). A front view of kopikalyan from a distance is a home. The picture from the verandah/smoking area has almost nothing to see. They claimed it’s an al-fresco Japan-style front yard.

The shop was busy from 12–2 pm. They had the stockiest activity at 10 am, so I don’t know the best time to recommend you come here if you find a peaceful soundproof ambiance. But I read a book and watched some videos here, and it was okay. You can always order food and pastry; their butter, rice, fried chicken, and croissant taste good. Or you can take a walk in the shop’s communal space. Just find which seat is comfortable for you.

While I wait for my second glass of coffee, I think it’s somehow clear.
If you are happy, you are meant to be satisfied.
Happiness is against asking. Maybe it’s something you’re going to notice or while you are thinking about such a thing. But you are not given by asking.
Is that make sense?

Let’s finish today quietly.
